Who Are You? Who are you? If I asked you this question what would you answer? Would you give me your name? Probably, although I'm sure you know you aren't your name. Names are just words. Are you your body. Certainly not. The cells of your body are constantly changing. The longest it takes for the cells of a brain to change. It takes seven years. So every seven years you have completely new body. Every cell is different. But although your body is constantly changing you are conscious that you are the same person. Your ideas, beliefs, convictions are probably changing, but you know that you are still the same person. Something doesn't change. So maybe it's the mind that doesn't change? But you can observe your mind, you can observe your thoughts and your thinking process, so you must be different from your mind. You must be different from your body and mind because you can observe them and they are changing. So who are you? I could tell you what I believe I am, but the purpose of this article isn't to present you my beliefs or my realizations, but to inspire you to find the answer yourself.
